Multiculturalism - Crash, the film

Este é um excerto dum trabalho realizado pelas formandas Elisabete Freitas e Sandra Rodrigues, na área de CLC-inglês.

As we can see in the movie "Crash", there is a lot of social discrimination.
What is this world in which man becomes the enemy of his brother?
We are all equal, but many times with different colors, different races, different languages, different ethnicities, different religions, but where were we born? In different worlds? Or all in the same world, where there is room for all? And still it seems incredible that there is place for such hostile attitudes.
All human beings are born free and equal in rights, endowed with reason and conscience and should act towards one another in a spirit of brotherhood.
If we are endowed with reason and conscience, trying to change the scenario of constant violation of human rights is in our hands, in small acts as educating our children with love and respect for others, regardless of race, religion or culture, or even through a donation of blood or a simple money donation, also encouraging more schools to provide opportunities for children to learn new languages, like English, which is the most widely spoken language and a very important weapon to educate for multiculturalism.
If the younger generations are the future men of the world, we should educate them on multiculturalism for the world of tomorrow to be better.
